There are 37 top-ranked universities in Australia provided in the 2019 release of the QS World University Rankings®, such as 15 in the world’s top 250. Each university was rated based on six categories, such as its reputation, popularity, quality, learning methods, higher digitalization, internship among academics and graduate student’s career, as well as its research result.

1. Australian National University (ANU):
Ongoing to position first among the top Australian universities, Australian National University (ANU) is rated Twenty fourth in the world in 2019 and statements one of the country’s highest scores for research result (citations per staff member) and amount of worldwide student indicators.

Ranked 114th in the world in 2019, the University of Adelaide has been famous for its enhancements in several places of research by the Excellence in Research Australia (ERA), a nationwide analysis assessment structure performed by the Australian Research Council (ARC).
9. University of Technology, Sydney (UTS):
University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) also improved its international position this year, going up the 16 places to position joint 160th with Switzerland’s University of Basel. UTS is one of the newest top Australian universities, founded in its current form in 1988.
10. University of Newcastle:
Up 10 places to rank position combined 214th in the world in 2019, the University of Newcastle started in 1965 and has its primary campus in the Callaghan suburb of Newcastle, New Southern Wales, and has almost 26,615 students at six campuses, such as one is situated in Singapore.
